LINGAYEN -- The Dagupan City Government and the Pangasinan Provincial Government will be the host of the Philippine Amateur Track And Field Association ( PATAFA ) National Open Invitational Athletic Championship this May 8 - 13 at the Narciso Ramos Sport and Civic Center ( NRSCC ) Lingayen, Pangasinan, Philippines.
Mayor Alipio Fernandez and PATAFA Chairman, said 600 to 800 athletes, trainers, coaches, and VIP's are expected to come in this said sporting event.
Aside from the Philippine contingent, the competiting teams from Brunei, South Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Thailand, Indonesia, India, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Singapore and others will face off in the athletic events like pole vault, high jump, long jump, relay, hurdles, hammer throws, javelin and discuss throw, and sprints.
